The Ambassador Programme is a growing cross-disciplinary community for individuals who want to take part in a wider movement around sustainable, collaborative and future-oriented design. Ambassadors connect with peers across fields, contribute to shared creative thinking and help strengthen the culture of co-creation that lies at the heart of the project. It is a light and flexible role that offers the chance to develop professionally, build meaningful international connections and be part of a community driven by curiosity, collaboration and positive impact.
What you gain as an Ambassador
International Visibility and Global Connections
As an ambassador, you become part of a European community and can be featured on the project website, newsletters and communication materials. You will connect with peers, designers, artists and professionals across countries, expanding your network and visibility beyond your own field or region.

You gain practical experience in communication, community engagement and cross-sector collaboration while learning to work confidently in an international environment. These skills support both your personal and professional development.
Official Certificate
You will receive an official certificate highlighting the skills you have developed as an ambassador, such as communication, outreach, marketing or other competencies agreed together. This can be added to your CV and LinkedIn.
Portfolio Value
Your ambassador activities are documented and can be included in your portfolio as verifiable experience that demonstrates initiative, collaboration and impact.
Ambassador activities include:
- Represent the project in your local context.
- Share project updates, Open Call news or inspiring content from the digital portal within your own networks, helping others discover what Time for (S) Heroes offers.
- Post about opportunities or insights on your social media channels if you wish, using ready-made templates that make sharing easy and visually consistent.
- Join occasional online catch-up sessions with the team and meet other ambassadors.
- Use a simple activity tracker that helps you keep an easy overview of what you’ve shared or taken part in during your ambassador period.
You will receive continuous support at every step and become part of an encouraging and growing international multidisciplinary community.
Who are we looking for?
We welcome ambassadors from different backgrounds, fields and stages of their journey. You might be a student, early-career professional or someone exploring creative, cultural or sustainability-related topics from your own perspective.
You can, for example, be:
- Interested in sustainability, culture or cross-disciplinary collaboration
- Curious about international collaboration and being part of a shared movement
- Open to connecting with people from different fields and countries
- Comfortable communicating in English
- Motivated to take part in flexible outreach activities
The programme is designed to be inclusive and accessible, and you do not need a specific degree or professional title to participate.
